| Despite atrocious weather, the
parade and ceremony brought colour and spectacle to the town centre. A RAF
Puma and a Tornado flew overhead in salute. 31 Group Royal Observer Corps Association played a full part in the parade and our Hon Sec, Paddy Malone paraded our Standard. We felt proud to be members of the Royal Air Force family on such a great occasion. Afterwards there was a fine reception in the Royal British Legion Hall Newtownards and also at Mount Stewart National property. |
